Production Photos
Production photos provide the unique opportunity to capture the most memorable moments of live theatre. From the most intimate moments between characters on stage, to fleeting glances that audience members often will miss from afar, production photos capture everything from chemistry to comedy in a way that can be immortalized long after the final bows have been taken.
Rehearsal Photos
Rehearsal photos capture the unique relationships and friendships between cast and crew members. These photos allow audiences to view a part of a production not often seen by the public while also helping any theatre or production company create marketing materials that will entice not only audience members to attend, but also for potential cast and crew members to participate!
Headshots
Headshots can help performers leave memorable impressions for both audiences and casting directors alike! Stylized headshots provide actors with a variety of choices to suit the needs of each audition while also providing casting directors and marketing teams with marketing materials that look amazing in playbills, programs, as well as advertisements.
Hi, I’m Alex!
Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been in love with theatre since my first brain cells formed, dating back to my pre-school showcase of The Wizard of Oz. Little did I know that my debut as one of the Wicked Witches of the West (there were 12 of us) would lead me down a wildly artistic and professional path! In addition to being in various shows as a kid, I’ve also been directing and producing shows for many years. For the past six years, I primarily directed children’s productions, but this year I was lucky enough to be asked to participate in a production of Murder’s in the Heir which introduced me to the world of professional theatre!
In addition to all things theatre, I obviously have a great love for photography! In 2022, my best friend Gina invited me to come with her on a surprise engagement shoot. On the way to the location, she was talking about how she wished she had more photos of herself taking photos for marketing materials, and I offered to take some action shots. That was the day that I fell in love with the rush of taking photos and the immense responsibility of knowing that if you miss a moment, you truly miss it. Photography engages all parts of my brain and I couldn’t imagine a more fun and creative outlet. After tagging along on several engagement, family, and couples’ shoots (and learning everything I know from Gina), I had the idea to take themed headshots for the production of Murder’s in the Heir for marketing materials. When the director saw the photos, he asked if I could take some production photos for the show, and after a few hours of climbing on set pieces, rearranging audience seats to get a better vantage point, and sprinting all over the theater (did I mention I was in the show as well?), I immediately knew that I had found my niche!
Production photography is by far my favorite type of photography and I would love to give others the same feelings of thrill, nostalgia, and joy that I get when looking at production photos!
